Job Description
The System Software Engineering (SSE) organization is responsible for enabling the Intel roadmap across operating systems and virtualization (Linux, Windows, VMware, Chrome OS, Android), cloud native infrastructure, runtimes, and the web platform. SSE ensures Intel builds software-first hardware platforms as well as driving adoption of Intel optimized system software in the ecosystem - with customers, Operating System Vendors (OSVs), Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Within SSE,  System Software Architecture(SSA) Team, led by Arjan van de Ven, the Chief System Software Architect and Intel Fellow, takes the responsibility to incubate and convey the next generation innovative hardware/software features into Intel Architecture based systems and influence them into CSP's Linux distributions, to achieve the best performance for the CSP vendors and our customers with Intel Architecture based platforms.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to
1.Collaborate with experienced tech leaders to identify and solve the challenge performance problems in industry and academic world;
2.Investigate and survey the bleeding edge technologies for system performance, most importantly, prove them with innovative approaches;
3.Design, architect and implement the hardware/software optimizations into Linux Kernel, support to the opensource community contributions;

Qualifications
•Minimum Requirements:
oBrave to ask WHY
oFans of dig out how OS, language/compiler, key performance tools works beyond how to use them
oYou must be enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Software, EE or related majors
oFamiliar with at least one language of C or C++
oYou must has at least ONE successful software construction story using C++ or C, as a key player inside this story
oFamiliar with Linux shell programming
oCommitment of 3-5 days per week for assigned working items within at least 6 months
•Preferred Extended Requirements:
oPrior experience of Linux Kernel, eBPF, Linux perf tool, ClickHouse or Nebula Graph is a plus
oFamiliar with Python/Javascript language is a plus
oAny compiler background is a plus
oFamiliar with X86 assemble and architecture will be BIG plus
